It is our mission is to create unique solutions to your outdoor living space. We take into consideration your dreams and vision to design and bring to fruition a landscape that compliments both nature and your lifestyle.

Our specialty is native stone and plant material. We like to use native materials to ensure a landscape that is both low maintenance and blends with the existing landscape.

Wells Hollow Landscaping is located in Waverly, IA and we serve the Northeast Iowa region and beyond.

Matt Wells: Owner and Landscape Designer
Matt come with over 10 years of expertise in the landscape industry and started Wells Hollow Landscaping in 2007. Iowa Nursery Landscape Association certified landscape professional. He is a graduate of Iowa State University with a degree in nursery productions and landscape design.

Jennifer Wells: Owner and Marketing
Jen is our marketing and communications contact as well as the office manager. She is a graduate of Iowa State University with a degree in journalism/ mass communication.

Our roots grow deep at Wells Hollow. Wells Hollow is a family owned business that has been in the ‘green’ industry over half a century. It began as a garden center and fresh market in Shelton, CT, to now our landscaping company, specializing in native materials. The original Wells Hollow Farm Stand is still operating in Shelton, CT where it is loved by many being one of the only remaining working farms in that area.

Wells Hollow Farm Stand was started by Bob Wells in 1958. Bob had a passion for providing excellent service and products. Whether it was the fresh vegetables grown at the farm in the summer, or the Christmas Trees in the winter, Bob made sure that he offered only the best. That passion has been passed on through generations and it is that philosophy of offering quality products and superior customer service that is the foundation for Bob’s grandson Matt, and Wells Hollow Landscaping.
